The TAKIBI series vest is designed to perform throughout the year in various camping scenes. This classic item has been renewed with new materials. Snow Peak's staple "TAKIBI Ripstop" series has been updated using the newly developed "CONEX? Ripstop" fabric. Maintaining the original flame-resistant properties of the TAKIBI series, the fabric is dyed using a "solution-dyed" technique that colors the fibers during production, significantly improving lightfastness—a previous weak point regarding color fading from exposure to light. The black color reproduction is enhanced for a deeper, richer black. Made with reliable Japanese fabric, it is also machine washable at home. Available in black and olive, the vest comes in three sizes (S–L) to fit a variety of body types. Based on the existing pattern but made lighter by using a different cotton fabric for the lining, the front and back patterns have been refined to eliminate uncomfortable length differences when worn. Equipped with pockets and loops for essential camping gear such as lanterns and hammers, it features a mesh bottle pocket at the back that can be accessed with one hand, and a chest pocket suitable for smartphones. The front opening uses a zipper with snap buttons for easy access, and shoulder straps are adjustable. This vest layers perfectly over a T-shirt and can also be worn over outerwear in autumn and winter.
